Renaissance Finance Bank is a new business in foreign exchange, including FX spot trading, FX derivatives and other structured products from Renaissance Capital, the leading emerging markets investment bank across Russia, the CIS, Central & Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia. Renaissance Finance Bank’s services will target wholesale capital markets, and are offered in conjunction with corporate lending, in order to broaden corporate risk management products and services for clients.

The establishment of Renaissance Finance Bank is the result of the acquisition of Leadbank LLC (formerly Bank Cyprus LLC), on 9 June 2010.

Services

Foreign-currency trading

Renaissance Finance Bank offers clients the ability to trade on exchange and OTC currency markets. To achieve this, the bank is actively, and successfully working in three key directions:

  • Gaining access to major and emerging exchange markets. Renaissance Finance Bank is already a member of the currency market on MICEX.
  • Building relations and establishing mutual credit lines with major OTC currency market participants in Russia, the CIS and other emerging markets. The bank already has mutual credit lines with major foreign exchange market participants in Russia.
  • Designing IT solutions for currency trading that will offer clients the fastest and most-effective execution on foreign currency markets.


Structured and derivative products

The infrastructure of Renaissance Finance Bank and Renaissance Capital, and the professionals working in these institutions can provide a wide range of instruments for hedging currency risks for clients, among them:

  • Multi-currency deposits.
  • Derivative instruments for particular currencies or currency baskets.
  • Sophisticated instruments for currency futures and options.

The bank’s approach is to offer standardised products, as well as designing products that suit the specific needs of each client.

Emerging market debt instruments

Renaissance Finance Bank can offer its clients access to the debt markets of CIS countries and other emerging markets, as well as structured products for these debt instruments.

Corporate client services

Renaissance Finance Bank offers a wide range of services to its corporate clients. The bank has correspondent accounts in major currencies; a correspondent account with the Bank of Russia; an account on the MICEX; and correspondent accounts in major CIS currencies.
