The Group entered Ukraine in 2004, and quickly has become a full-service investment bank in Ukraine.
Renaissance Capital in Ukraine provides financial advisory services to Ukrainian corporate and other issuers in the area of Capital Markets, M&A and other investment banking activities on the Ukrainian and foreign financial markets. The Ukrainian office of Renaissance Capital also provides professional services on the Ukrainian stock market and is licensed to perform broker-dealer, underwriting and custodial activities in Ukraine. It trades Ukrainian governmental, municipal and corporate securities on its own behalf and for clients.
Renaissance Capital Ukraine is a member of such self-regulatory bodies as Association "The First Stock Trading System" (PFTS) and Professional Association of Registrars and Depositaries (PARD), as well as of "PFTS" Stock Exchange.
The company is occupying leading rankings in equity and debt trading on Ukrainian market and has strong position in M&A advisory. Since its establishing in 2004 Renaissance Capital in Ukraine advised Ukrainian clients and completed transactions on Capital Markets and in the M&A field for the total amount of more then US$800,000,000*. Among the most eminent transactions by Renaissance Capital in the Ukrainian markets are US$150 million LPN offering for Industrial Union of Donbass Corporation and US$75 million LPN offering for a chain of family supermarkets "Furshet", raising US$155 million of equity capital for real estate developer and retailer "Karavan", UAH300 million bond placement for JSC "The State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine", strategic sale of OJSC "Rosynka" to Orangina Group, sale of OJSC "Marine Transport Bank" to Marfin Popular Bank.
